Nutty Chocolate Balls
We have a strong urge for anything sweet on a regular basis. To avoid indulging in unhealthy sweets at such times, we prepare these divine and healthy Nutty Chocolate Balls, which we keep at your fingertips in the refrigerator. You can even enlist the help of your children in making a little mess. And remember to enjoy these delectable treats in moderation.
We'll use plenty of dry fruits and cornflakes in this homemade recipe. They are a good source of iron and vitamins, low in sugar and calories, and contain no cholesterol. Above all, this dish calls for nuts such as almonds and walnuts, giving it a richly satisfying flavor.
Unlike the traditional Larabar-style raw bite, these treats have a cake-like texture thanks to ground almonds. You may use almond, cashew, or even hazelnut butter as the nut butter base for a Ferrero Rocher–style dessert.
They also freeze quite well. I prepared a batch about three weeks ago and stored them in the freezer, but they kept getting stolen, so I’ll have to make another batch since I don’t think there will be enough.
According to Ayurveda, excess Ama (toxic leftovers from improper digestion) accumulates in the body and causes various disorders. Cashew nuts, with their Ushna (hot) quality, help boost digestive fire, increase metabolism, and reduce Ama when taken daily.
These are the most unique nutty chocolate balls that are perfect little sweet treats to serve at parties.
